Research for Community Partners

The Meros Center in collaboration with Wisconsin Lutheran College offers a professional development certificate in Research for Community Partners (RCP). When academic researchers are studying a topic in the community, it is critical that community members be involved in the work in order to have an accurate understanding of the topic and find meaningful solutions.  This program was developed for community leaders, health ministry practitioners, health professionals, church leaders, non-profit workers, and others who desire to learn more about the research process and to be effective research teammates.  The program is taught from a Christian Biblical worldview and integrates themes of teamwork and community advocacy throughout the lessons.

The full online program contains 20 lessons, organized into four independent courses consisting of five modules as follows: Community Research Basics (1-5), Community Research Design (6-10), Conducting Community Research (11-15), and Analyzing & Sharing Findings (16-20).  

The Meros Center accepts multiple payment types including international Visa Cards.  The Meros Center supports training access for all, providing opportunities for tuition assistance for those who require it.
